The ABY Foundation has been dedicated to supporting veterans through a range of programs focused on addressing PTSD and social challenges. In 2002, they expanded their efforts to assist children facing diabetes and obesity, and in 2020, they began offering programs for individuals impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
In collaboration with the Warzone Boxing Club, the foundation provides free fitness, nutrition and self-defense programs tailored for children, teenagers, and adults, aimed at improving their overall well-being. Over the years, they have successfully helped hundreds of individuals regain mobility and stability in their lives.
These initiatives are funded entirely by the generous contributions of the Franco Family, without seeking external financial support.
In late 2024, the ABY Foundation will extend its reach into Arizona, offering services to Bullhead City AZ, Laughlin NV, and surrounding areas. With a broadened mission that includes collaboration with other sports organizations and gyms. Enrollment fees and monthly dues for young boys and girls, enabling them to participate in organized sports such as football and baseball will be covered by the foundation.
Our goal is to make a positive impact on individuals of all ages and backgrounds, helping to transform their lives in meaningful ways through proper fitness, nutrition and sports.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
The mission of the ABY Foundation is to empower individuals to lead longer, healthier, and happier lives. Through the provision of free fitness programs, nutritional education, and supportive initiatives, the ABY Foundation aims to instill healthy habits, encourage physical activity, and equip individuals with the resources needed to enhance their overall quality of life. By addressing the root causes of these health challenges and offering guidance and support, the foundation is committed to creating a positive difference in the lives of those it serves.

Childhood obesity is a critical issue in our nation, with a significant number of children not engaging in adequate physical activity and maintaining poor dietary habits. According to the CDC, nearly 1 in 5 children in the United States is affected by obesity, a figure that has more than tripled since 1970. One of the primary contributors to this epidemic is the lack of physical activity among youth, with a staggering percentage failing to meet the recommended 60 minutes of daily exercise.
The consequences of childhood obesity are serious, as affected children face increased risks of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, respiratory issues, joint problems, and musculoskeletal pain. Furthermore, they are often more vulnerable to bullying, which can lead to lower self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. It is essential to tackle this issue early, as children with obesity are at a higher risk of becoming obese adults, facing even more severe health challenges.
By promoting physical activity, providing nutritional education, and offering support to both children and their parents, we aim to empower families to lead healthy, sustainable lives and effectively combat obesity and diabetes.
